Nutrient Supply Initiative

By recognizing the critical role of nutrition in the overall well-being of rural communities, our trust has undertaken initiatives to ensure adequate nutrient supply to vulnerable populations. Targeted supplementation programs were implemented to address specific nutrient deficiencies identified during the nutritional assessments. This included the distribution of vitamin and mineral supplements, particularly for populations at risk of micronutrient deficiencies. Initiatives were undertaken to promote community gardens and kitchen gardens, enabling community members to grow their own nutrient-rich foods and vegetables, thus improving access to fresh and locally available produce.
